Bill Sargent

I’m Bill Sargent, a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) and the sole owner and photographer behind Milwaukee Headshots™, LLC.

• Certified, not self-declared. I earned my CPP designation from Professional Photographers of America in March 2019 a credential held by fewer than 2,500 photographers nationwide, and only about 35 in Wisconsin.
• A career built on craft. My path in photography has spanned studio ownership, fine-art portraiture, and specialized techniques a depth of experience I bring to every session today.
• A specialty years in the making. I began photographing headshots in 2014, and after years of refining my craft, I made it my exclusive focus in 2020 with the official launch of Milwaukee Headshots™, LLC.
• Leadership in the industry. I served as President of the Wisconsin Professional Photographers Association, hold an Associate Fellowship from the organization, and was named WPPA Top 10 in Wisconsin.
• Professionally affiliated. I’m a member of Professional Photographers of America (since 2014), the Texas Photographers Association, and a founding member of Professional Photographers of Southeast Wisconsin.
• Trained by the best. I’ve studied under and been mentored by top photographers across the country, traveling to states including Kentucky, Tennessee, Minnesota, Illinois, Texas, Georgia, and Maryland to sharpen my craft.
• Focused specialty. After exploring other specialties along the way, I found my calling in headshot photography and launched Milwaukee Headshots to focus exclusively on it.

I approach every session with the same drive that got me here: constant growth, sharp technical skill, and a genuine excitement for the work not just experience, but experience that’s still evolving. At the core of everything I do is a simple standard: a hunger for excellence, and a commitment to making the next image better than the last.
